Dr. Michael Tigges
Dr. Tigges received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1987 and has been in active practice in Gallatin since 1988 after relocating from Dubuque, Iowa.
Dr. Tigges enjoys a family oriented practice that is built on personal referrals. He uses physical therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and nutrition to compliment a variety of chiropractic techniques. Dr. Tigges has completed extensive post-graduate work in various areas of chiropractic care.He is a member of the Tennessee Chiropractic Association and is on the Allied Health Staff at Sumner Regional Health Systems.
In his free time he enjoys exercising and gardening.
Katharina, CTA, CA, Rehab Technician
Kathy is our senior chiropractic therapy assistant. Her ever present smile shows how much she enjoys assisting Dr. Tigges and the patients in the performance of various therapies and office duties. She has been with Tigges Chiropractic since 1995. She has a total of 15 years of medical healthcare experience. In her time in our office, she has helped deliver care to thousands of satisfied patients.
Kathy has completed a course of study and passed the Tennessee State Board Examination which allows her to be a Chiropractic Therapy Assistant. The CTA course includes 50 hours of instruction along with 1200 clinical hours of internship.
She is a member of Chiropractic Assistants of Tennessee.
Virginia, CTA, CA, Rehab Technician
Virginia is a Chiropractic Therapy Assistant who has been with Tigges Chiropractic since June of 2006..She uses her own personal touch in performing various therapies and front office duties including insurance and day-to-day office management. In her time in our office, she has helped deliver personal care to hundreds of Tigges Chiropractic patients.

Heather, LMT, CA, Rehab Technician
Heather is a Licensed Massage Therapist performing massage on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. As a Chiropractic Assistant, she also assists with various chiropractic therapies.
She graduated from Natural Health Institute in March 2003 and has been practicing massage therapy in the spa industry since then. She has training in many massage modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Hydrotherapy, Myofascial Release, Ashiatsu, and Reiki.
She is a member of National Hands On Trade Association and is currently studying to attain her CTA credentials.
Sheila, CA
Sheila is a Chiropractic Assistant and keeps busy in the front office greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and performing various office duties. She is our insurance liaison and works hard to insure that the insurance companies work in the best interest of our patients.
